Description
LOCTITE DRI 2040 is a general-purpose medium to high strength pre-applied threadlocker adhesive. When cured, this product will also act as a thread sealant. Dry-to-touch coatings contain microcapsules which crush during assembly, releasing an active ingredient, which starts the curing process.
- The adhesive expands into the threads, filling all the voids thus locking and sealing the assembly
- Has good adhesion to various substrate surfaces
- Particularly well suited to galvanized and plated surfaces
- Meets DIN 267 part 27, as well as other automotive specifications
